This model depicts the Detroit FD as I remember. My dad drove E 27 in the early to mid 50's. It was a 36-37 sedan. There is a small differance. He also drove E31 (38 sedan) X len williams .

Detroit FD 1937 Safety Sedan Pumper

Fire Replicas has outdone themselves with the production of the Detroit FD Safety Sedan Pumper. Incredible build quality and attention to the most minor of details. I have only seen pictures of the original rig, and in my opinion this production of an important model of "Days Gone By," has been captured to the Nth degree. A must-have for the serious collector! This model provides an historical record of rigs that served the fire departments during the 1930s and 1940s. Very glad I added this pumper to my collection.

1/24 would be better, specially for the price. Glad I grabbed it. Thanx Arnie.

    Seagrave Safety Sedan

This was a great choice by Fire Replicas. I for one would like to see many more vintage builds. I am a collector and builder an am not interested in the current fire apparatus because they do not have the appeal or character of the older vintage trucks. Some people might not agree but I like all of the detail the vintage trucks afford a collector. Keep up the good work.

I've seen the actual vehicle that this is a model of, and I can't come up with enough superlatives to describe the model. It's perfect, and the detail is amazing. This is the finest model in my collection. Actually, it's more than just a model - it somehow captures the spirit of the engine.

An excellent reproduction with the finest details. I'm one of the few people around who actually rode one of these rigs and pumped with it.. Looked for the fender siren but this rig came with only an exhaust whistle - electric sirens were used starti

Please continue your great models and especially some more vintage rigs. Some of us still like the classics.
