    The Best Model Ever !!!

Posted by John Albanese on 28th Dec 2016

I've been collecting Model Fire Vehicles for over 38 years and this is the best one to ever be released. I've even had custom made models that were very expensive and as good as they were, nothing ever came close to this quality. Other than a few select Chicago and F.D.N.Y. rigs, I collect only "Vintage" rigs. I've placed several want ads on various scale model sites looking to hire a builder of a Chicago Autocar Squad without any luck. So you can imagine how I felt when they were released, not to mention their quality and very fair price. I don't really collect the usual fare (pumpers & trucks) any more. But as far as Squads, Chief's Buggies and Specialty rigs (like say, Chicago's Big John), I'll be a loyal customer for ever !!!! I can't wait to see their next Vintage release. Thanks for adding the best ever model to my collection and Keep Up The Great Work !!!!

    Well worth the wait!

When I saw pictures of the concept Chicago Autocar squad in February I knew it was a" must have" piece for my collection. Jack Connors shared the pictures at the SPAAMFAA winter meeting in Houston. He also shared that the pri9ce would be right at $200.00 and the goal was to have them in customers hand in time for Christmas. The detail and quality is indeed museum quality. The case is also a high quality case. Having been around Chicago in the early '60's the Autocar squads were familiar. You have picked a very unique pierce of fire fighting apparatus to turn into a quality model.

    Chicago Squads

Posted by Bob Milnes on 23rd Dec 2016

Nicolas you have hit another home run with the Chicago Squads! That is a classic vintage rig that was a workhorse for the department for many years. I grew up in Iowa and my parents took me on a vacation to Chicago. We took the train and as we were walking out of the train station a full assignment was responding and that was the first time seeing one of the squads. To me that was the best part of our visit to Chicago and made me a "buff". I hope you are thinking about doing more models of famous vintage rigs. Rigs today all look a lot alike, but the vintage rigs had character and style.

Fond memories heritage with a hint of more reminders to present

Posted by Timmy Hanks on 23rd Dec 2016

So enjoyed the Autocar Squad 09 - as a former paramedic officer for the Chicago Fire Department - this particular model is the only one of the Autocar Squad series that has the stokes basket attached alongside the portside external railing/hose bed board. It reminds me of the rich heritage that the fire service continues to have and puts a smile on my face thinking this model - for me anyway - it best represents what I might imagine as the earliest EMS/Fire response as represented by the stokes basket. The quality of workmanship, the detail, the precision is excellent. I own several other models and have so enjoyed the excellent work of your team! Keep up the great work Nick!!

Model detail is so accurate. I like to collect different versions and this one fits the bill. Keep up the great work. This is my second Fire Replicas model with one on order.

    1954 Autocar Chicago Fire Truck.

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Dec 2016

I was really impressed by the great detail of this fire truck. I am looking forward to purchasing more of your fire trucks. I would like to see some Pirsch fire trucks added to your models. It would be great to see ladder trucks, pumpers, a rescue squad, and a tow truck made by Pirsch. I know that there were cities in Milwaukee, Racine, Chicago, and Memphis, that had a lot of the Pirsch fire trucks in their firehouses.
