    CFD 1952 Squad 7

Posted by Enguerrand on 25th Jul 2021

With this kind of model, collecting makes perfect sense. Especially from a historical point of view. With the vintage line, Fire Replicas produces very nice and uncommon fire vehicles from the firefighting golden age. The CFD 1952 Squad 7 is one of them, a very detailed model perfectly reproducing the so special shape of the original !

Great reproduction. Only wish I’d been a customer when the 85’ FWD ladder truck had been available

Received my Squad 7 model a couple of days ago... Just now opened it and it is another Home Run by Fire Replicas !!!!!!! I never saw the real apparatus but judging by the photos they are spot on with everything on it !!!!! The detailing is extremely well done as are all the models I have received from them... Another "Golden Oldies" winner !!!!! I do wish they would do some other cities older rigs such as LA City Crowns and Seagraves, San Francisco ALF's, Seagraves, Houston WLF, ALF, Seagraves, Dallas WLF, ALF's, Pirsch's, Seattle's KW trucks, etc., etc...... The list is endless........ Thank You Fire Replicas for these Wonderful "Golden Oldies" Fire apparatus as well as the more modern Fire Apparatus.....So worth the price !!!!!

    1952 Autocar Chicago Squad 7

This is my third vintage Chicago fire truck. I have the 1954 FWD aerial ladder, Mack L Sedan pumper, and now the 1952 Autocar Squad 7. I am very satisfied with the three trucks. They look wonderful displayed together. I have no connection with Chicago, and live just 50 miles from New York, but the FWD got me started with Chicago, and the nostalgia of a hook and ladder was too much to ignore. These trucks are the center piece of my collection.. The detail is incredible, and I recommend them to any model collector. Superb trucks. I was also pleasantly surprised with the initial issue of the Fire Replicas book. A keeper, which is an informative record of all of the trucks produced so far. Great photography, and interesting articles. Thank you very much.
